We are very excited about being a part of one of Melbourne’s best markets this week “Markit” at Federation Square – as you can imagine we are pretty crazy busy getting ready for it. Here are some of the new things we will be bringing along with us!

We also have our classic apple and pear shelves  in wood and will be bringing our Jewellery, Garden Stakes, Christmas decorations and anything else we can fit in the car!

Don’t worry if you are not in Melbourne or you can’t make it on Sunday, these items will be all up on our website for purchase next week!

We will also be sharing a stall with Andrea Smith. Andrea has made some of the cutest Christmas cards and paper around and I’m sure lots of other great things that I haven’t had a sneak peak at yet.

I do think this market is going to be the best place to start your Christmas Shopping, we’ve already picked out so many things (mostly for ourselves) we want to buy. There are going to be so many amazing designers there, it’s going to be HUGE!!

Finally, we have our Christmas Decorations and Wreaths up on the website! All designs are now in stock and ready to ship! Please visit our website to see all the different designs and colours available. You can also take a look at our Christmas Photo Gallery to see more photos of them.

These wonderful modern laser cut Christmas Decorations are a collaboration between Andrea Smith and Candy Stripe Cloud (designed by Andrea made by us). Choose your favourite animal and decorate for Christmas the Candy Stripe Cloud way!

Colourful Elephant Banks!

Look what just arrived and are now available in our online store! We have been waiting for these little guys to finally be in our grasp and they arrived late last week (yay). These super cute little colourful elephant piggy banks are one of our favourite products ever at Candy Stripe Cloud. They just have such character and life in them and they are beautifully made too!

They come in 9 fantastic colours which makes it practically impossible to choose your favourite.

They also have a little key and lock in the bottom so you can lock him up and keep your coins (or other treasures) safe.

Our New Stockist – Follow

Have you been into Follow yet? Sydney’s very beautiful NEW store? Well they are now stocking our new jewellery range and garden stakes (which are not even up on our site yet!) so you better rush in there and take a look! Along with our goodies they also stock a fantastic collection of clothing, homewares, jewellery, prints, bags, cards… the list goes on.

I could have bought everything in this store (if my credit card would allow it) it’s so refreshing to walk into a shop and see so many things made by Australian designers and also things I’ve never seen before (which is always exciting too!)

The store is owned and run by the lovely girls that organise the Finders Keepers so they know how to fill a shop with all the best stock that’s for sure. The fitout of the shop which was once an old pharmacy is a dream come true, all the walls are lined with the most amazing cupboards to showcase all the beautiful pieces!

I’m wishing now I’d taken some better photos but I was too busy ohhing and ahhhing at all the lovely things and purchasing a new dress! Better you go and check it out for yourselves I think.

New Jewellery – coming very soon!

We have some new jewellery about to be released and this week has been all systems go with the fun part of assembling all the little pieces together to make a lovely brooch or necklace. Below are the pieces we need to make our red teacup brooch, red perspex with little grey and black inserts.

These are all our colourful mirror inserts we will be using in our black and mirrored pieces (see examples below).

The finished pieces ready on their display cards for the trade show earlier this month.

A sneak peak at our Christmas range!

Yes we have been quiet lately! But we have been keeping busy working on new things to share with you! One of which is our new Christmas range decorations and wreaths.

These pieces were designed by our super talented friend Andrea Smith. They came about after one day Andrea mentioned she LOVED designing for Christmas and we thought that if we put our heads together we could do much better than what has been around in the shops in previous years, little did I know that Andrea not only loved designing for Christmas but came up with what I think are the cutest laser cut Christmas decoration I’ve ever seen!

The photos above were taken last week at the Life In Style Trade Show where we were part of the made590 stand (best stand there!). Our Christmas range proved to be quite a hit with retailers looking for something fun for Christmas. There are 2 wreath designs and 11 decorations (in wood + red and white perspex) to choose from, we are producing these all in house. They will be available closer to Christmas to purchase at Candy Stripe Cloud. Hope you love them as much as we do!
